BRINGING SMILES, CHANGING LIVES – SUPPORTING CHILDREN WITH CLEFTS
Through a meaningful partnership with Smile Train India, 290 children received free cleft surgeries, giving them the gift of a healthier and more confident future. Cleft is a facial birth difference affecting one in 700 babies, with over 35,000 children born with clefts in India annually. Without treatment, these children struggle to eat, breathe, and speak, often facing social isolation. This initiative ensured access to quality medical care at Smile Train India’s partner hospitals. 42% of the beneficiaries were girls, many at risk of abandonment, while 56% were infants under two years, ensuring early intervention. By providing life-changing surgeries, the program is helping children reclaim their smiles and their future.
